Rock House by Chaukor Studio is a bold yet grounded residence shaped by the idea of permanence and connection to its context. The home unfolds through layered spaces that frame views, invite natural light, and create a quiet dialogue between structure and landscape—resulting in a residence that feels robust, timeless, and deeply rooted.
The main idea behind this house was to create a perfect setting that can support and strengthen our minds and creative spirits. We used a very earthy and a raw material palate for the interior space of the house to completely blur the lines between outdoors and indoors.

Lantern House is conceived as a bold yet composed contemporary residence defined by strong geometric volumes and layered materiality. The façade combines textured natural stone with dark metal cladding and horizontal wooden louvers, creating a balanced dialogue between solidity and permeability.
Lantern House ultimately stands as a contemporary landmark within Nagina—a residence that reflects industrial strength, disciplined planning, and a luminous architectural identity that quietly commands attention.
The architectural language is driven by framed projections and recessed balconies that act as light boxes. At dusk, warm recessed strip lighting and interior illumination transform these volumes into glowing elements—echoing the metaphor of a lantern within the urban context of Nagina. Lighting is the core architectural tool. Recessed ceiling strips, concealed façade lighting, and highlighted vertical elements ensure the house transitions beautifully from day to night. The glow is deliberate, controlled, and warm—never excessive, always composed.
