    Inside, the planning prioritizes openness while maintaining privacy from the street. Large openings are carefully framed to allow daylight without compromising security. Double-height areas and internal courtyards (where applicable) ensure natural ventilation and visual connectivity across floors.

    Spatially, the house is organized vertically across multiple levels. The ground floor accommodates formal and semi-formal spaces, while upper floors transition into private family zones and outdoor terraces. Balconies are designed as extensions of living areas, encouraging indoor-outdoor continuity.

    Emotionally, Cascade House represents a transition in their lives — a shift from ambition-driven hustle to a more grounded, intentional way of living. It is a home that balances sophistication with comfort, openness with intimacy, and architectural boldness with quiet elegance.

    Materiality was a major driver in decision-making. Natural stone, textured concrete finishes, and warm wood tones create depth and tactility. The palette is muted yet rich, allowing light and shadow to define the mood of the space throughout the day.

    Cascade | Dining Area

    Indoor–outdoor integration was essential. They wanted greenery to be embedded into the architectural language, not treated as landscaping added later. Large glass openings allow daylight to wash the interiors, but with thoughtful placement to maintain privacy. The house needed to feel expansive without feeling exposed.

    Tetris House is a playful yet refined contemporary home designed for a young family in Greater Noida. The design language is inspired by interlocking volumes and layered planes—much like a three-dimensional puzzle—where each element fits seamlessly into the next.

    Natural light filters through carefully placed openings and vertical voids, creating layered shadows across brick and plaster surfaces. The planning emphasizes visual connectivity—allowing parents to keep sightlines open across floors while maintaining spatial differentiation.

    The staircase becomes the central sculptural feature of the home. Its floating white treads, glass balustrade, and exposed brick backdrop create a striking interplay of lightness and solidity. The angular underside of the staircase introduces geometric drama, reinforcing the “Tetris” concept—stacked forms interacting dynamically within a compact footprint.
